Founder, Senator Safety
Dean has spent over 20 years in construction, defence, and facilities management — including roles with Interserve Defence, Brymor Contractors, and Actavo at Devonport Royal Dockyard. He holds a NEBOSH General Certificate, is IOSH graduate-level qualified, holds a Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice, and has been awarded a ROSPA Gold Award for a health and safety management system he implemented.
He founded Senator Safety to bring that experience to other businesses as a retained QHSE consultancy — quality, health, safety and environmental support, without the overhead of hiring in-house.
Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, every UK employer is required to have access to competent health and safety assistance. Senator Safety exists to make that genuinely affordable — using AI to handle the volume of day-to-day questions and document drafting, with Dean reviewing and standing behind the answers that matter.
